Gabe is a 2008 graduate and was a two sport athlete earning letters during his career in both basketball and soccer. It was on the soccer field that he would have the greatest impact. In all four years of his high school soccer career Gabe was a 1st Team all Little Hawkeye Conference selection while leading the Warriors to four straight conference championships. The Warriors were as dominant as any soccer program in the state of Iowa as Gabe would lead Norwalk in qualifying for four state tournament berths which included two state championship runner-up finishes and a state championship his Jr. year. Gabe was selected to the All-Tournament team in both his Soph and Sr seasons and was a 2nd Team All-State Selection his Sophomore and Junior year and a 1st Team All-State selection his senior year. Gabe currently assists the Norwalk Soccer program as a volunteer coach and assists in coaching for the Apex Youth Soccer Academy. He works for Casey’s General Stores Headquarters in E-Commerce and resides in Norwalk with his wife Abby and their children Levi and Tessa.
