Tony is a 1991 graduate who was a four sport athlete for the Warriors, competing in Football, Wrestling, Track, and Baseball lettering in all four sports during his career. In Football, Tony was a 1st Team All-Conference selection his senior year contributing to the Warriors Conference Championship in 1990. It was on the wrestling mat, however that Tony’s athletic ability was most apparent. He was a four year letter and was a conference champion his senior year. Tony qualified for three state tournaments finishing 5th his junior year and then ended his brilliant career with a state championship at 140 lbs defeating his opponent from Garner-Hayfield 11-2. Tony compiled a career record of 121 wins, 32 losses, and one tie. Following high school Tony continued his wrestling career at Buena Vista University in which he would qualify for two NCAA Division III tournaments in 1993 & 1995. Tony is a civilian contractor as a bomb dog handler at the US Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan. When stateside, he resides in Kansas City with his wife Elaine. They have four children and one grandchild.
